Physical Description
Medium size, muscular and rectangular in shape. The head is in proportion and moderately wide. It has medium length drop ears. Ears are brown and the nose is brown or black. The tail is docked or natural.

Temperament
An excellent companion and a good gundog.. The Welsh Springer Spaniel is usually good with children and other dogs.

Living Conditions
Will do ok in apartment as long as it is exercised daily.

Grooming
Brush the coat at least twice a week. Occasional professional grooming is desirable.

Exercise
This Spaniel needs daily exercise to keep it happy. This is a highly active breed.

Coat Texture
The coat is short, thick and soft with feathering on the ears, chest, abdomen and limbs.
