Physical Description Small to medium size, muscular, rectangular shaped dog. The head is narrow and wedge shaped with a muzzle of equal length. The nose is black and the eyes are almond shaped and brown or blue or a combination of both. The ears are small and folded whena t rest and semi erect when alert. The tail is thick, and set low. |
Temperament The Sheltie is good with children and other dogs. They are also easy to obedience train. They are intelligent and hard working. Affectionate with its family but wary of strangers. |
Living Conditions This breed will do ok living in an urban area. They also do better in cooler climates. |
Grooming This breed should be brushed at least Twice a week. |
