Physical Description Small to medium size muscular dog. It has a wedge-shaped head and the skull and muzzle are of equal length. The nose is black or self-colored and the eyes are prominant. Ears are button, tipped or erect and v-shaped. Tail may be docked, naturally long and curved upward or with a natural bob. |
Temperament A loving, affectionate dog that does good with children if raised with them. These are typical fiesty terriers that are highly energetic |
Training The Rat Terrier can be somewhat difficult to train |
Living Conditions Will do ok living in the city/apartment if exercised |
Grooming Brush and comb occasionally to remove dead hairs and bathe when needed |
