Physical Description
Stocky, medium size dog with a narrow head, brown nose, amber or hazel eyes and long drop ears that are set away from the head. The tail is medium length and curved or is docked.

Temperament
Gentle and docile. This is a good companion dog although they are usually only kept by serious hunters as a gundog.
