Physical Description
Medium size, strong, broad dog. The head is wide and slopes to the muzzle . The tail curves in and then out at the tip. The eyes and nose are brown. The ears are low set and drop.

Temperament
A gentle dog that makes an excellent companion and gundog. They are affectionate and devoted. Enthusiastic in the field and highly trainable.

Living Conditions
Would do best with an active family in a suburban or rural home.

Grooming
Comb coat at least once a week and keep ears clean.
