Physical Description
Medium size, compact, muscular dog. It has a broad skull and short muzzle. The eyes are almond-shaped adn the nose is black.. The ears are medium length, drop and set high. The tail is long.

Temperment
This dog is an excellent hunter and an obedient companion. They get along well with children and other animals

Training
These dogs are highly intelligent and are fast learners. They take to obedience training very well.

Living Conditions
will do ok in apartment if sufficiently exercised

Grooming
Brush about once a week and slightly more attention is need doing shedding

Exercise
Needs quite alot of exercise. They like to swim and retrieve

Coat Colors
Red to Orange with some having white markings on the tip of the tail, feet and chest.. Some may even have a blaze on the face

Coat Texture
Double water-resistant coat of medium length hare and a softer undercoat.

Puppies
4-6 pups per litter are obedient and easy to train
