This breed can live as long as 12-14 years of age

Known Health Problems

Alert and independent. The Nordic Spitz is a friendly dog that gets along good with other dogs.. The do like to bark and will warn of stangers but that is all.

Patience is needed when training this dog. They are independent and have mind of there own.. It may take time to teach them a basic level of training

Living Conditions
They should have a fenced yard if living in urban areas.. They do like to wander due to their hunting instincts.

Occasional brusing is sufficient, especially during shedding.

The Nordic Spitz is very energetic and requires considerable daily exercise

The coat is short and dense with a soft undercoat
