Physical Description
Large, strong, powerful dog. It has a massive, flat head that is covered with wrinkles and the muzzle is wide and deep with heavy lips. It has deep set eyes and a large nose. The drop ears are small and triangular shaped or are cropped. The skin is loose and the tail is docked.

Temperment
The Neapolitan Mastiff is a dominant breed, yet affectionate with its family. Most of these dogs will do ok with children if not pestered to much. This breed does show dominance with other dogs.

Training
This breed is not for the beginner. They need consistant yet calm training by their handler

Living Conditions
The Neapolitan Mastiff will do ok in a an apartment if exercised

Brush occasionally to remove dead hairs

Exercise
When full grown, this dog needs an average amount of exercise. They should not be over excercised when it is young and still growing
