Physical Description Large, strong, powerful dog. It has a massive, flat head that is covered with wrinkles and the muzzle is wide and deep with heavy lips. It has deep set eyes and a large nose. The drop ears are small and triangular shaped or are cropped. The skin is loose and the tail is docked. |
Temperment The Neapolitan Mastiff is a dominant breed, yet affectionate with its family. Most of these dogs will do ok with children if not pestered to much. This breed does show dominance with other dogs. |
Training This breed is not for the beginner. They need consistant yet calm training by their handler |
