Physical Description
Small, compact, sold, and square. Head is domed with long drop ears. The nose is upturned and short. Eyes are round and dark and the muzzle is extremely short. Tail is docked or naturaly short and screwed.

Temperament
Playful, cheerful dogs that are quite social with other animals. The King Charles Spaniel rarely barks.

Training
Intelligent dog can quickly grasp what is expected of them.

Living Conditions
Will do ok in apartment/city living

Grooming
Brush coat twice a week and take care of the folds on the face.

Exercise
Little exercise needed. Take for a walk or play in fenced area.
