Physical Description
A medium size dog that is well built and muscular, they have drop ears and a tail that is slightly curved and is carried upward. The have a black nose and oval eyes that are chestnut in color.

Temperament
Affectinate, loyal and energetic, The Griffon bleu de Gascogne are usually good with children and other dogs, however they may see small animals and prey and may go after them as these dogs are hunters. They are usually used to hunt in packs or individually.

Living Conditions
Not recommended for apartment living, Should be in a home with at least a large fenced yard.

Grooming
Regularly brushing may be needed to remove dead hairs. The ears should also be cleaned often to prevent infections in the ear due to moisture.

Exercise
These dog have high exercise needs and need to be exercised daily.
