This breeds origins can be traced to the dogs brought to Europe by the Alans, these mastiff dogs were probably crossed with greyhounds to create the great dane

Physical Description
Very large, muscular and squarely built dog with a big, rectangular head and drop ears that are natural or crop. The eyes are dark and almond-shaped and the tail is long and tapered.

Temperament
Lovable gentle giants. Affectionate companion & loyal guard dog. loves children and can be a very gentle playmate and loyal guardian for them. This breed may be distrustful with other dogs
