Physical Description
Medium size, muscular and compact dog. The ears are long and drop. The eyes are dark and oval in shape. The nose is liver or black and the head is long and broad. The tail is medium length and carried horizontally.

Temperament
This breed is gentle and playful, always loyal to its master. Good with children and very obedient.
They make a fine gundog

Training
English Springer Spaniels are very itelligent and should pick on commands very quickly

Living Conditions
This breed will adapt to city living but is best suited to a rural or suburban life.

Grooming
Once a week grooming and some trimming may be needed of couple of times a year

Exercise
Exercise daily with walks are another form of exercise

Medium length, flat or wavy coat is feathered on the ears, chest, legs and belly.
