Physical Description
Large, muscular, square shaped dog. The nose is brown or black and the ears are drop. The tail is naturally short and carried slightly high.

Temperament
Friendly, loveable and affectionate.. They are intelligent and make excellent first-class game pointers. They are friendly with other dogs, children and even strangers

Training
Reasonably quick learner and easy to train

Living Conditions
Not recommended for apartments or city living

Grooming
little grooming needed. Maybe just brush with a rubber brush to remove dead hairs

Exercise
Needs lots of exercise. At least half an hour everyday to run about

Coat Texture
The topcoat is short-haired while the undercoat is short and smooth
