Ear Infections, Eye Conditions, Allergies, Deafness, Familial Nephropathy, Heart Disease, Hip Dysplasia, Luxating Patellas, PRA, Seizures.

Physical Description
Small to medium size, dog. They have a strong, softly contoured head with oval shaped brown eyes and long, low ears. The tail is docked.

Temperament
Obedient, gentle and great with children. The enlish cocker spaniel usually does well with other pets

Will do ok in apartment

Grooming
Brush this dog at least once a week to keep the coat from becoming matted

Exercise
Exercise daily. The english cocker spaniel is very active and does need to be sufficiently exercised.

Coat Texture
Medium length, silky coat is straight or wavy. The ears, tail and legs are feathered

The English Cocker Spaniel comes in a large variety of colors and patterns

Puppies
3-8 pups per litter. Training should start early with this breed
