Temperament
This cat is loving and playful. The mau is active and agile. The do not like being left home alone and tend to be a one person cat.

Living Conditions
The ideal home would be a large fenced in outdoor run with a roof allow the cat to have some outdoor time.

Grooming
Light grooming needed only to remove dead hairs

Exercise
The Egyptian Mau does need plenty of exercise, they can even be taught to walk on a lead
