Physical Description
Medium Size dog that has dark oval shaped eyes, long, thin low set ears and a thin tail that tapers.

Temperament
Friendly, sociable and affectionate. They are shy, yet curious. The Deutsche Brackes are resonably obedient and are excellent hunting dogs. They usually do just fine with other dogs, children and even cats, but should be introduced to them when young.

Training
This breed requires firm, patient training.

Living Conditions
Would probably do best in a rural area, They should be kept on
leash or in a fenced yard at all times due to their hunting instincts

Grooming
Does not require much grooming, but should be brushed occasionally
with a rubber brush to remove dead hairs and minimize shedding.

Exercise
Needs daily exercise , if not being used for hunting, he must be walked daily
