Physical Description The Chortaj is a large size dog. They have a long broad skull with a cone shaped muzzle. The eyes are dark and large in size. The ears are thin and long and hang down. The nose should be dark or self colored depending on the color of the dogs coat. The chest is deep, legs are slim and long and the tail is saber shaped and is long. |
Temperament The Chortaj is a friendly intelligent breed that is independent and an excellent hunter. They are not aggessive towards humans however they will go after small animals and should not be kept with them. |
Training This breed is intelligent and highly trainable. Socialization and training should be begin early |
Living Conditions Not recommended for Apartment Life. These dogs are bred for hunting and very active. |

Exercise This is a highly active hunting breed and needs plenty of exercise daily. |
