Physical Description
Very large, powerful dog with a broad head and a deep blunt muzzle. The nose is large and black and the ears are small and drop or cropped close to the head. The tail is naturally long or docked.

Temperament
Intelligent, protective dog that is wary of strangers but is affectionate and loyal with its family. They can also be dog aggressive.

Living Conditions
Not good for apartment.

Only light grooming needed

Double coated with a profuse undercoat. The coat may be long or short.
