Physical Description
Medium size, muscular, dog that has a large, broad head with medium size drop ears. The muzzle is strong and slightly tapered. The eyes may be any color or combination of colors. There is a muscular neck and a long, slightly curved tail.

Temperament
A stubborn yet loving family companion. This breed is rather dominant and needs to have a dominant owner. The catahoula can be wary of strangers including children who may enter its property
