patellar luxation,chronic ear infection, distichiasis, sensitivity to anesthesia, and bloat.

Physical Description
The Canarian Hound is medium size slender and lightly built. The neck is long, the head is longer then it is wide. The eyes are almond shaped and amber in color. The tail hangs down in a sickle fashion.

Temperament
Energetic, affectinate and bold. These dogs have excellent sense of smell and make great hunter.
They are loyal to their master.

Training
Needs patient and consistant training. They can be timid and training should not be rough.

Grooming
Minimal grooming is needed.
Brush occasionaly with a bristle brush to remove dead hairs and bathe only when needed.

Exercise
Needs daily active exercise. This breed can become destructive if not exercised properly
