Physical Description Large, powerful, squarely built, compact dog with a large head. It has oval, brown eyes, a large, black nose and small ears that are cropped erect or naturally drop. The bouvier is naturally tailess or the tail is docked. |
Temperament The Bouvier is calm, intelligent and they are gentle with children and their family. They make an excellent watchdog who is wary of strangers and other dogs. The do need early socalization with other animals , but they should be fairly easy to train. |
