The exact origins of this breed are unknown. Thought to be related to the barbet or to the water spaniel.

Physical Description
Small, compact and study. The skull is rounded and the muzzle is shorter than the skull with a strong lower jaw. The eyes are black or brownd and they are round with a dark halo around them. The ears are drop and set high and forward on the head. The wel-plumed medium-length tail curls over the back.

This bold & lively little dog is a loving and playful companion. They are good with children and other animals. They are obedient and usually well-mannered

Not difficult to train.. Be consistant with them and socialize them well

Living Conditions
Will do ok in apartment

Brush a little daily just to keep the coat fluffy

This breed is active indoors and doesn't require and special exercise

Double coat with a soft, dense undercoat and medium-length, cottony outer coat.
