Physical Description While similar in size to the ACD the Stumpy is a 10 to 10 ratio dog whereas the ACD is 9 to 10 ratio. The Stumpy has more leg under him than the ACD giving him a more athletic appearance and due to the lower body
mass......he tends to have more stamina that the ACD. The stumpy is
muscular without a bulky appearance. The head, while having a flat
backskull and more upright earset, tends to look more sculpted. without
being heavy. Eyes are dark brown and oval shaped. The nose is always
black. The chest while deep is never below the elbows. The tail is a
natural bob and can vary in length from completely tailless to not to
exceed 4 inches |
Temperament Active and alert.. These dogs usually gets along ok with children and pets if rasied with them. This breed can be wary of strangers |
